A New Leaf

Today I started my fitness program. I did a 15 minute EA Active workout followed by a 5 minute walk on the hamster machine... treadmill. My plan is to do this every other day for starters and eventually work into a daily workout of at least 20 minutes.

Notice that I'm calling this a program and not a goal. I am going to do this. I have to. Aside from my eating plan, its the only way I can assist my body with burning fat. Everyday that goes by without exercise is a missed opportunity to reduce my body size. I want to be 220 lbs as soon as possible.. It is my mission.. It is my life.

  1. I just caught up on your last 3 posts....sorry you didn't have a loss this week but don't get discouraged!!! Just keep doing what you know is right and it will happen. And yes, exercises will definitely boost those losses. It's just good for your body all the way around, but I personally think it does even MORE good for your mind. Once you get moving on a consistent basis, you'll be proud of yourself, and actually come to a point where you WANT to do your workouts. Trust me on this. ;)

  3. Wow - sounds like the same level of committment that got you started in January. Good for you!

I noticed that your 1/16/10 weight should be 422 rather than 423. Hey -- there's another pound.

  5. I like it. That program can clearly fit into every day, no excuses, and it will definitiely get the fat burning.

  7. You are right. Every day you don't move is a missed opportunity.

  8. Congrats on the focus and determination! Don't put your focus on that scale though. The scale can be disappointing because we can not control it...what you can control is what you put into your body and what activity that you do. Everything else will fall off of those two things.

  10. ETL-
Just a word of caution, I have the EA Sports Active at home and I eventually stopped using it because I kept getting frustrated. It seemed like I was constantly adjusting the leg strap to get it to register correctly. I hope you have better luck than me.
